Mokarran is happy to announce its 1st partnership with ... Shark Education !!! We thank Steven Surina for trusting us and we are delighted to be able to collaborate with this passionate shark. We share the same philosophy of the oceans: "OCEANS BELONG TO THEM". For those who do not know "Shark Education"

For those who do not know "Shark Education"

Mission

phrase3

The objective of Shark Education is to train divers to meet sharks while diving, in the form of a seminar where Steven teaches, in a theoretical way, the factors that influence a meeting and how to interpret the behavior of the shark. The knowledge and experience gained helps to adopt the correct behavior / approach in subsequent encounters with sharks. "No longer see a shark, but dive with it".

Note: Shark Education is an independent organization, unrelated to Dr Erich Ritter's Shark School. Each of the organisms offers their own method of studying the Diver / Shark interaction, and are not associated in any way.

Realizing that it is possible to interact with sharks, participants discover a new image of them. The psychological affection of having lived a privileged moment of extreme intensity with a shark encourages and leads divers to plead not only for their cause, but also to make them informed ambassadors capable of passing on the torch.

Action

Shark Education offers training in the form of seminars around the world. You can experience diving with different species of shark depending on the destination.

Based on the observation of different species of sharks, the study will be done through daily lectures illustrated with photos and videos. The practice will take place during immersions in situation. The knowledge and experiences acquired will contribute to understanding the approaches of sharks and to and adopting the right behaviors to better interact with them; and ultimately become a competent representative and advocate for their case. The themes will be:

- Biology of sharks.

- Identity card of local species.

- Fashion, habit of life and reputation.

- Shark ethology in the presence of divers.

- Body language, types of strokes.

- Recommendations, risks, protection and preservation.

The local income generated by these trips promotes sharks to local communities: the economic value of a living shark compared to a caught shark takes on its full meaning. The shark-tourism economic benefits push governments to protect them and create marine reserves and sanctuaries.

To put it simply, the act of diving with sharks protects them. One more opportunity for Shark Education to bring on its own scale, in addition to education, one more argument for the protection of sharks.

Shark Education offers a unique personalized experience of diving with sharks. Steven will be able to help you plan and execute your shark diving experience, ensuring that you are in the right place, at the right time, with the best chance of successfully meeting the shark of your choice.

In collaboration with centers and partners based around the world, their specialties are:

concept

- Great white sharks (South Africa and Mexico)

- Tiger shark (South Africa and Bahamas)

- Scalloped hammerhead shark (Egypt and Sudan)

- Oceanic shark (Egypt)

- Silky shark (Sudan and Philippines)

- Great hammerhead shark (Bahamas)

- Bulldog shark (Mozambique and Mexico)

- Pelagic thresher shark (Egypt and Philippines)

- Requesta whale (Maldives, Philippines and Djibouti)

Shark Education sets standards and recommendations approved by the Responsible shark international ecotourism charter. During these dives, we seek to reduce the impact we have on sharks and their environment, to educate divers about their behavior and the threats they face.
Shark Education is active in several research, awareness and conservation projects involving sharks and rays around the world.
